Momentum

My current personal project I’m working on when I have spare time is a game I’ve called Momentum.

A lot of the development and progression in this is from both my feeling coming out of my Final Year Project Morning Star as well as the fun I had with developing within the pixel shader I used in D6 game jam I did.

In this project I have created a few different mechanics which I’m planning to use to make a speed runner. So far I’ve created:

A wall run that allows the player to run around curved surfaces
A physics based slide that can allows the player to move under rails, as well as increase their speed depending on the height of the incline they start to slide down.

Another thing I started to do for this small project is to do some small basic models that I could use to make my project feel more alive. Which I have to admit I got carried away with since I ended up making some Pigeons with large personalities
